Terms of Service

These Terms govern your purchase and use of MatchRounds interview-preparation and career-guidance services. By booking or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms.

Educational service only

MatchRounds provides educational coaching and individualized feedback. Services do not constitute medical, legal, mental-health, institutional admissions, residency-program, or employment advice.

No guaranteed outcome

MatchRounds does not guarantee interview invitations, rankings, residency placement, Match results, fellowship placement, employment, or any other admissions or career outcome. Decisions remain solely with applicants and the relevant programs or institutions.

Applicant responsibility and integrity

You remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of your applications, statements, interview answers, and other materials. MatchRounds will not assist with concealing, falsifying, or materially misrepresenting information. Coaching may help you discuss difficult application areas honestly, clearly, and professionally.

Original work

MatchRounds may provide feedback on communication and strategy but does not author or submit applications, personal statements, letters, or other applicant materials on your behalf.

Services and scheduling

The standalone EM Residency Mock Interview is one private 60-minute session. The Complete Interview Prep program includes three private 60-minute sessions. Booking the first Complete Interview Prep session reserves the purchased program; private scheduling links for later sessions are provided separately.

Availability is limited to times shown through the MatchRounds scheduling system. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and joining scheduled sessions on time with a functioning internet connection and audio/video setup.

Rescheduling, cancellations, and missed sessions

If you need to reschedule, please do so as early as reasonably possible using the scheduling tools provided. Repeated last-minute cancellations, missed appointments, or misuse of booking links may result in forfeiture of a session. MatchRounds may reschedule a session when necessary and will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative time.

Payments and refunds

Payment is due when required by the booking page. Because coaching time and preparation capacity are reserved for each booking, completed sessions are non-refundable. Requests involving unused or cancelled services may be reviewed case by case, subject to applicable law. If MatchRounds cannot provide a purchased service, an appropriate reschedule or refund will be offered.

Confidentiality and sensitive information

We treat information shared for coaching as private business information, subject to our Privacy Policy and the operation of third-party service providers. Do not provide patient-identifying information, protected health information, passwords, or other information that you are not authorized to share.

Intellectual property

MatchRounds branding, original coaching materials, templates, and Interview Prep Sheets are provided for the purchaser's personal use. They may not be resold, publicly redistributed, or represented as another person's or organization's work without permission.

Independent service

MatchRounds is not affiliated with ERAS, the AAMC, NRMP, any residency or fellowship program, hospital, medical school, accrediting body, or employer unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, MatchRounds is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from admissions, ranking, employment, or career decisions. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
